As we continue to work through Hebrews Chapter 11, we look at Joseph’s prophecy about the exodus and his instructions about his bones.
Hebrews 11 looks at a number of people from the old testament who demonstrated faith. Toward the end of genesis, the Israelites are living in Egypt. Before his death Joseph prophecies about the exodus and the return to the promise land. Josephs got so much faith in God’s promises that he gives instructions that when the Israelites leave Egypt, they should take his bones with them so he can be properly berried in the promised land.
The main reading is Psalm 73.
